As a newly chartered ANS section, we are establishing the foundation for a strong statewide community dedicated to advancing the safe, secure, and beneficial use of nuclear science and technology.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Lone Star Section is to build a connected and informed nuclear community across Texas, supporting professional growth, technical leadership, and outreach that reflects the state's expanding role in nuclear innovation.
Current Organizational Status
The Section is now forming its inaugural Executive Committee, as required by the approved Rules and Bylaws. A nominating committee is being assembled to prepare the first slate of candidates for election. Texas-based ANS members in good standing are eligible to participate in this process.
