About the Section

The Lone Star Section of the American Nuclear Society was chartered to serve the entire State of Texas. Our purpose is to support professional development, technical excellence, and public understanding of nuclear science and technology across the state's diverse nuclear enterprise.

As the Section develops, the organizing volunteers anticipate recommending that the future elected Executive Committee consider establishing regional branches to support local engagement. Any such structure will be determined by the elected leadership once in place.
