Leadership (In Formation)

The Lone Star Section is currently in the process of forming its inaugural Executive Committee, which - per the approved Rules and Bylaws - will consist of:

• Chair
• Vice-Chair / Chair-Elect
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Two Members-at-Large

Until elections are held, the Section is being supported by the following organizing committee:

Research Chemist, Nuclear Energy eXperimental Testing Laboratory (NEXT Lab), Abilene Christian University

• Cori Shoultz, M.Sc.

Quality Engineer, Natura Resources

• Mark DeHart, Ph.D.

Director, Nuclear Science and Engineering Graduate Program, Abilene Christian University

These volunteers are coordinating the initial steps required by the bylaws, including assembling a nominating committee and preparing for the first election of officers.

Eligibility Requirements (from the Rules & Bylaws)

• Voting and holding office is limited to ANS members in good standing.
• Eligibility for service on the Executive Committee is limited to Members and Participants who are residents of the State of Texas.
• At this time, there are no designated Participants, so only ANS members residing in Texas are eligible to run or vote.
